1m long screw, what material can produce it?
The metal materials used in the production of screws are mainly stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, aluminum and titanium. The 1m long screw is equal to the 1000mm long screw. Can these 5 materials be used to produce long screws?
The materials used for the production of long screws are generally stainless steel and carbon steel, because the properties of these two materials determine that the length that can be produced is basically unlimited. Therefore, if you produce 1m long screw, stainless steel and carbon steel can be produced. And Shi Shi Tong screw manufacturers have also produced screws over 1000mm long, such as 1650mm long screws.
However, the carbon steel material is not as good as the stainless steel material. In terms of electroplating, if the 1m long screw produced by carbon steel is not electroplated in time, it will easily rust, but there are very few manufacturers that can do 1000mm long screw surface treatment. The long screws made of stainless steel can directly clean the surface.
The three materials, copper, aluminum, and titanium, cannot produce such long screws because of the material properties.
