Can hammer head screw be customized?
When it comes to t-screws, probably most people who know about fasteners think of the GB 37-1988 screw. Shi Shi Tong received an email from Japan some time ago. The customer said that he needed a hammer head screw and asked if it could be customized.

Shi Shi Tong opened the customer’s CAD drawings and found that the screws required by the customer were different from the standard GB 37-1988. The head is different. The two sides of the head required by the customer are similar to ellipses, and the thickness of the head is relatively thin. The screw material is stainless steel 316.

According to the customer’s drawings, Shi Shi Tong engineers suggested that the customer increase the thickness of the head by 1mm so that the hammer head screw would not easily break during production, and even if it was produced, it would not easily break.
After hearing the suggestion of Shi Shi Tong, the customer said that the head thickness could be modified according to Shi Shi Tong, because after all, the products they did not want to produce could not be used by themselves, and there were safety risks.
After the customer received the hammer head screw, he checked it very quickly and found that there was no breakage in the actual use. Therefore, the customer once again chose Shi Shi Tong to produce the screws he needed in the mass production of his products.
