The thread of the stainless steel phillips screws is very short. Can this be done?
Mr. Huang is an old customer of the Shi Shi Tong screw manufacturer. Recently he sent a drawing to Miss Song, asking whether we can make the stainless steel phillips screws on the drawing.
The stainless steel phillips screws on Mr. Huang’s drawing are M3*8, but the size of the thread part is very short, and there are only 2 effective threads. Valid threads do not count the first thread and the last thread because their threads are incomplete and do not count as a valid thread. If the effective thread is too short, it will not tighten.
Mr. Huang said that their design is just like this, and considering the problem of locking, they also took measures to design this screw, which is really ok. Their requirement is that the head of the stainless steel phillips screws should have A CD pattern, and the tolerance should not exceed.
According to Mr. Huang’s requirements, this stainless steel phillips screws needs to be ground processed after multi-station production, and a grinding machine may be needed to control this tolerance, because the tolerance required by Mr. Huang is confirmed to be very small. After confirming that we could produce, Mr. Huang sent the payment very soon.
