Why do we need to change the design when customizing stainless steel binding post screws?
Mr. Wu from Jiangsu said that he wanted to customize a stainless steel binding post screws and provided the corresponding drawings to Ms. Song. After looking at the drawings provided by Mr. Wu, Ms. Song told Mr. Wu that the design of the drawings was unreasonable and suggested that Mr. Wu talk to the engineering team and change the design.
One is the female screw in a stainless steel binding post screws. The wall is too thin. When drilling, it will be easier to break the wall. Therefore, Mr. Wu suggested that he either increase the diameter of the female screw or change the inner hole of the female screw. . Otherwise, even if there is no problem during production, it will be broken during use because the wall is too thin, which will cause a hidden danger in use.
Second, the groove depth of the inner hexagon is very deep, and the depth distance from the inner hole is only 0.5mm. In this way, the inner hexagonal groove will be easily broken during use. Therefore, we also suggested to Mr. Wu to change the depth of the inner hexagon groove to a shallower one.
After receiving Ms. Song’s suggestion, Mr. Wu said that he needed to talk to the engineer about revising the design. The next day, Mr. Wu said that he would follow our suggestion and let us make stainless steel binding post screws samples for him to test first.
