Miniature Screws Forming Technology

Miniature screws refer to screws with specifications below M3, which are called small screws. Miniature screws forming is mainly at the beginning of cold heading this step. The machine to be used for ordinary screws is usually a single mold machine.

★ wire. Select the corresponding wire according to the specifications required by the customer. For example, to produce miniature screws of M1.4, the wire size used is 1.15. After finding the corresponding wire and checking its mark and quality, straighten the front end of the wire 1-2 meters and remove the front burr.

★ Cut the material. After the straightened wire enters the machine, the wire is cut by the cutting die and the cutter according to the specified length. The feeding time and cutting time of the machine should be adjusted during this process.

★ One punch molding. After the cut wire is sent from the cutter and the clamp to the die, a punching action extrudes the wire into the relevant head shape, and the dwell time of the machine is adjusted here.

★ Two-punch molding. The process is mainly to form the screw, but the whole screw is still in the mold.

★ pass out. This process is to push the screw out of the mold, marking the completion of the entire process. Here we have to adjust the time of the machine.After the above steps, the head and groove of the screw are formed. The next step is the rolling of the screw. Screw forming is an important step in the entire screw production process. This is related to the tolerance of the screw.
