How To Determine The Cross Recessed Screw Phillips Groove Number?

Recently, Shenzhen Shi Shi Tong screw manufacturer received the customer’s drawings and found that the customer is marked with the groove type number next to the cross recessed screw, such as #0, #1, #2, etc.

Although both are #1, the size of #1 is different in different thread diameters and head sizes.

From the above data we can see that even though the M2, M2.5, and M3 cross-slot models all show the #1 slot, the width and depth of the cross recess are different. Therefore, when the customer says that the #1 slot is required, we will determine the size of the groove according to the cross recessed screw size of the customer and let the customer determine whether the size is correct.
