Generally, the metric socket head screws are exposed to the air, and many use scenarios can’t be avoided. In the case of humidity, many devices are very susceptible to moisture if they are not prepared for moisture. Once it gets wet, it will oxidize and rust. (1), the metric socket head screws is moisture-proof. In the vibration machine, try to use solvent-free paint.
(2) It is preferable to use an impregnating varnish which does not contain an oxidizing component, such as an Epoxy-urethane-based or an Epoxy-based impregnating varnish.
(3) When using melamine acid impregnating varnish, the curing temperature and curing time should be adjusted. The curing temperature is slightly higher than 130 °C (such as 135 °C) and the curing time is more than 180 min, and the process must be strictly implemented, especially in the hot and humid season, the vibrating screen has a specific internal shape due to the concept of rust prevention. The drying (curing) time of the paint specified in the paint factory sample is not necessarily sufficient. This can achieve a good moisture-proof effect.
(4), the use of paint without volatile acid can also make the metric socket head screws moisture-proof.
(5) Select paint with good hydrolysis resistance.
If your screws are used in a damp place, take measures to prevent moisture.
