Can a ultra low head cap screws hexagon socket save money like this?
A few days ago, Miss Lin found the Shi Shi Tong screw manufacturer to customize a M5×75 ultra low head cap screws hexagon socket, which was made of stainless steel and provided us with drawings.
In Miss Lin’s drawings, the head of the ultra low head cap screws hexagon socket appears to be a piece of the mold, and the thread is fully threaded. After seeing the drawings of Miss Lin, we gave Miss Lin the following suggestions:
1. The head of the ultra low head cap screws hexagon socket is changed to the C head, that is, the head is naturally formed by cold heading, instead of being added with a sleeve mold. If you follow the drawing of Miss Lin, then on the fourth of the accounting price, you need to add the cost of the sleeve mold, and the cost is increased.
2. The full thread is changed to a half thread. Because such long screws use full thread, it is not only difficult to screw when screwing but also easy to slip. Moreover, the cost of production is also very high. Such a long thread has few teeth, so a pair of dental plates need to be fixed. For the half thread, the thread length is changed to 25mm, and the diameter of the rod is changed to haunted of about 4.35mm. The Shi Shi Tongscrew manufacturer has a mold, which saves the cost of the mold.
After listening to our suggestion, Miss Lin said that she would discuss with the project whether she should modify the size of the ultra low head cap screws hexagon socket, but Miss Lin also asked us to give her two different sizes of prices, she also compare.
Two hours later, Miss Lin said that her screw was changed to our recommended size, because it confirmed that a part of the purchase cost was saved, and the modified size had no effect on their assembly.
