Why can’t m4 stainless steel countersunk screws be produced?
Countersunk screws are a kind of screw fasteners that are very commonly used. They can be used in many materials, such as stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, titanium and copper. So why is Mr. Shen’s m4 stainless steel countersunk screws not produced?
Mr. Shen, their company is doing mechanical equipment, and the screws used above require high strength. When asked by us, Mr. Shen said that he wanted m4 stainless steel countersunk screws and asked if there is any way to make the strength of stainless steel reach 10.9 grade of carbon steel.
This can be difficult for us because the strength of the stainless steel material is only 4.8 max, which can not achieve the strength of 10.9. After we told Mr. Shen truthfully, Mr. Shen said that he understood. Then we asked Mr. Shen if the required strength is 10.9, the material can be replaced with carbon steel. Mr. Shen said that he wanted stainless steel because he felt that stainless steel is not easy to rust than carbon steel. In the end, Mr. Shen also agreed to replace the m4 stainless steel countersunk screws with carbon steel.
