Titanium Screw Commonly Used Processing Steps

Now more and more titanium screw are used in various high-end products. Because titanium screws are non-toxic, resistant to high and low temperature, superior corrosion resistance characteristics. Titanium screw  is very light, substantially does not increase the weight of the product.

Titanium screws are commonly used in two types of processing: cold heading and lathe (cnc machine).

The use of lathe is generally TC4, while the use of cold heading is generally TA2. Cold heading is mainly natural molding, so the material must not be too hard. Therefore, it is more appropriate to use TC2 titanium, and it is usually said that TC2 titanium is pure titanium.

Titanium screw commonly used processing methods are divided into five steps

1. Prepare the wire, usually the existing wire in our factory.
2. Using a cold heading machine screw head type, groove type.
3. Using rolling machine.
4. Heat-treat the screws.
5. Plating the screws.
