What if the long screw is bent?
Sometimes, when we receive a long screw, we will find that the rod part of the screw is bent, and it is not in the same center as the head. How to do this?
If the long screw is bent, we need to analyze the reason. Was it bent before the screw was formed, or bent when the screw was formed or bent after the screw was formed?
Bending before forming means that the screw wire is not straight, the need to straighten the wire so that the production of the screw will not bend. Bending when forming means that the wire may be too soft, resulting in bending when subjected to the impact of the machine, or the material is normal. However, there is an error when debugging the machine, which will also lead to bending of the screw. A bending that occurs after molding, usually during transportation or surface treatment.
If the long screw is bent, you can generally find a straightening factory to straighten the screw. However, some long screws cannot be straightened, such as the screws with full thread. When straightening the screw, the threaded part may be damaged, resulting in the unserviceable.
