What needs to be provided for long m3 screws customization?

When designing clothes, designers need some parameters to refer to, otherwise, the designed clothes will not be able to wear, or although they can be worn, they look very inharmonious. So, when it comes to customization, parameters are very important. So, when customizing long m3 screws, what information do we need to provide to customize them? Can customized products meet our requirements?

1. Size and appearance. Dimensions include: screw length, head diameter, head thickness, thread diameter, pitch, groove size; If the long screw is half thread, also need to provide the rod diameter, thread length. Sometimes it is necessary to provide the size of R Angle, the size of the tail chamfer, and the Angle of the thread according to the product.

The shape needs to be provided: (1)The shape of the head. There are many shapes of the head, such as pan head, binding head, button head, flat head, ultra low profile head, truss head, and so on, (2) groove type. If there is no slot, slotted, Phillips, hexagon socket, Torx, Phillips/slot., Y slot, and so on. (3)Thread shape. Although the screw thread is divided into machine thread and self – tapping. But the machine thread and the tapping inside can be separated out a lot of threads. Such as machine tip tail, machine flat tail, thread forming machine thread, self-tapping flat tail, self-tapping cutting tail, self-tapping tip tail, and so on.

2. material. Screws are made of many materials, such as stainless steel, iron, titanium, aluminum, copper and so on. And different materials correspond to different requirements. If required, the strength of the long screw is 8.8. Then only 10B21 and SCM435 in iron material can meet the requirement of this strength, while other materials cannot. In other words, the screw needs to withstand 1000 degrees Celsius, so stainless steel 312 is able to meet this requirement.

3. Surface treatment. There are many kinds of surface treatment of screws, such as zinc plating, which is divided into white zinc, yellow zinc, blue zinc, black zinc, green zinc, red zinc, and so on. Not all surface treatments can be done with every material, such as anodized surface treatment, iron material can’t be done, the surface treatment for anodizing is usually made of titanium and aluminum screws. The surface treatment is generally the thickness of the coating, if the customer does not require, is generally in accordance with the standard coating thickness. However, if the customer has other requirements, if it can be done, it can be produced according to the thickness of the coating required by the customer.

4. Quantity. When customizing long m3 screws, the quantity must be provided. Screw manufacturers according to your quantity to fit the appropriate production mode. For example, if your screws can be made either by turning or by cold heading, if your quantity is small and subsequent quantity is not very large, we will evaluate which production method will save you money and produce the product you need.

5. Other requirements. Some customers also have other requirements for long m3 screws, such as the packaging of screws, the size of bags to be used for packaging, the number of screws in a bag, and so on.
