Why do long socket screws break?
Quality has always determined the development of the company. If the quality of the company’s products is not good, then the number of customers will slowly decrease, and the company will not be far away from dissolution. The same is true for screw fasteners, and the quality control of screws will be stricter, because screws will be used in many places, and small accessories are related to product safety. So, why do the long socket screws break when we screw them? Is it the quality of the screws?
Whether it is long socket screws or other screws, different specifications, materials, etc. have different torque ranges. If when screwing this screw, the torque we use exceeds the range that the screw itself can bear, then the screw will break. This situation is not a quality issue, you only need to control your own force when you screw it.
Sometimes there may be a problem with the production method. The production method of long socket screws is generally by mold clamping, cold heading, or welding. The strength of the screws produced by welding is not as high as that produced by clamping and cold heading, and the corresponding torque will be reduced. It is also possible that the groove of the screw is too deep or the material is defective.
