Why is the groove shape of stainless steel screws different?
The head of the stainless steel screws consists of the head shape and groove. Groove has an slotted groove, cross groove, hexagonal, plum, etc. But for the screw with a slot, different screw manufacturers have different shapes. Why is this?
In order to understand why the groove shape is different, we need to know that there are two production methods of screws, one is cold heading, the other is machining. If the head shape of the screw is produced by cold heading, then the shape of the stainless steel screws groove is similar to the shape of “eight” on the edge of the word. This is the groove produced by cold heading.
If the stainless steel screws are slotted or machined, they will be in the shape of “one” from start to finish. Screw production mode will determine the shape of a word slot is not the same. The performance of the groove will not be affected by the different production methods, and some customers will find the groove out of the groove more beautiful and choose the shape of “one”.
